Today, we welcomed a joint delegation from AFRL with Dr. M. Gonzales and Dr. Major Swanson, ONR and IMOD to present our collaborative activities aimed at characterizing the impact behavior of a new USAF high strength steel. This is part of our THEOREM project together with our colleagues of U. Carlos 3 of Madrid. The visit comprised a brief description of the main results so far and a lab. visit.
