Today, Inbar Benyunes (on my right) and Amit Lewin (on my left) received their B.Sc. diploma. Both did their final project with me on the stress/strain shielding effect in laminates/bones. They produced very interesting results. Likewise, Yuval Berenstein got her B.Sc.diploma, heading towards a direct-track PhD co-supervised with Dr. G.G. Goviazin.
A moving moment was to meet Clarice Wagner and her husband who attended the ceremony for their graduating son. Clarice took one of my strength of materials classes….27 years ago!
